TAMIL LANGUAGE FESTIVAL
NATIONAL SCHOOLS CHALLENGE (TLFNSC)
This year, the Youth Wings of Tamils
Representative Council (TRC) and Bishan Indian Activity
Executive Committee (IAEC) are jointly organizing the largest
Tamil National Level Competition in Singapore. This competition
will be supported by Tamil Language Council, Tamil Language
Learning and Promotion Committee, Singapore Tamil Teachers Union
and our Indian partners in Education and Youth Development.
More than 1000 participants from all over the island will go
head to head in the Individual and Overall Categories. Other
than competing in our flagship competitions such as Public
Speaking and Storytelling, they will also compete for the first
time ever, in our Singing, Essay Writing, Poetry Writing, Dance
and Drama competitions.
The Tamil Language Festival National Schools Challenge will
consist of two components, the
Competition Round and the Performance Round. The top three
winners from the Competition Round will showcase their talents
on 3 April 2010 at Bishan CC, where the Individual and the
Overall Category winners will be announced.
